Many people have never heard of cape verde before so it goes in unison that not many people know where it is. Cape Verde has ten Islands of which Santiago is the main one.  They are situated  in the Atlantic Ocean and can be found below the Canary Islands, five and a half hours flight from the UK. These Islands are on the same latitude as Barbados close to the equator.  Sunbathed in a warm climate most of the year.
